Does anyone sell (Amazon or someone else) some kind of bracket to mount a tablet to my RC2 controller? I love the controller but my eyes are not so good and need a bigger screen. I don't even know if RC2 will connect to tablet, USB C cable I'm guessing. Thanks for the help guys

Yes there are, I just can’t tell you which one is the best so I will be anxiously waiting to hear from others.

They do and they are, but they are very pricey, and shipping from Norway is also expensive.

I can't remember what it cost me back then, but it was worth the price and I would consider another purchase in the future.

As https://mavicpilots.com/members/anzacjack.807/ stated, A1 quality. 👍

I liked it so much that I made a case to hold the MA2 and the remote rig together without having to disassemble the flight station (remote) for storage. One less thing to fumble with when it's time to fly. :)

Indeed. I bought their custom RC mount for the 10” FreeWorld tablet. It stays on all the time, as a dedicated set up. It's a bit cumbersome, like the old Star Wars setups with a giant tray harness underneath, to support the weight of everything, back in the day when we added antenna mods to the RC and mounted external batteries to the drone to fly further and longer, long before VLOS restrictions, and before DJI's OcuSync 4+'s 30km range, and 51 minute advertised flight times on the Mavic 4 Pro! LOL!

DJI has now filled that gap, without all those workarounds, and the 7” RC Pro 2 controller has filled another gap, if you can get your hands on one, and the Mavic 4 Pro!

I remember the effort it took trying to get a decent signal back from the gopro so you could frame the shots that were being automatically taken every 30 secs. Haha

This crowd make some really nice mounts:

But, connecting the RC2 to an iPad is not simple. You need a USB-C to HDMI cable, then an HDMI capture card for connecting to the iPad (if I remember correctly), running a capture App on the iPad to show the video feed.

I gave up and bought an N3 controller to connect to my 12.9" iPad, just connects with a standard USB-C cable. This works so well, and the big screen clarity is wonderful. The N3 works well with my Air3s and my Neo :-)

Some accessories are available on Amazon !
Cool!
Just did a search on Amazon, and found their store there under Lifthor:

I haven’t compared prices to their own website, but it has to be cheaper to bulk ship to Amazon, and then let Amazon do the heavy lifting to individual customers.

Amazon wants $78 shipped free for Prime members. Adorama has same listed price, but even though the below list shows it to be "in stock online" when you go to Adorama's web site it's out of stock until November,

Bummer.......as of yesterday, 9-1-25, the elimination of the de minimis exemption means the Freya mount is subject to the 15% Norwegian tariff. According to their web site this will be collected by DHL Express who will do the US delivery. In my case, this means the Freya mount would cost me about $9 more from Norway than from Amazon. Were it not for DHL getting into the mix, I would still buy from liftor/thorsdroenworld----much faster shipping and I believe there is an advantage in buying directly from the company. But I have had a couple bad experiences with DHL when it comes to international shipments. I'll wait and how it goes for purchases directly from thorsdroneworld.com now that DHL is the tariff collector before I pull the trigger.

Anything he has that is listed on Amazon is already in the U.S. and tariff and shipping free. Once that supply is exhausted, things will change on Amazon, too.

I realize tariffs don't apply to Amazon. I was referring to the 15% tariff that applies now if I buy from Thorsdroneworld in Norway. The de minimis rule that exempted imports valued at under $800 was removed making most items from Norway shipped here subject to the 15% tariff.

United States

Q: Is there still a duty-free limit for small packages?

  • From August 29, 2025, the $800 de minimis exemption has been removed. All shipments now go through U.S. Customs.
Q: Will I pay import duties or tariffs?

  • Yes. Due to the new reciprocal tariffs imposed by the U.S. government:
    • Products made in Norway (e.g. most LifThor mounts, brackets, sunhoods, clamps) are subject to a 15% U.S. import tariff.
    • Products made in China (e.g. cables) are currently subject to a 30% U.S. import tariff (10% reciprocal + 20% fentanyl-related). This rate is in effect until November 10, 2025, but may change afterward.
    • Monitors are exempt from these tariffs.
  • U.S. Customs may also add state/local sales tax (usually 5–10%).
Q: How will these tariffs/taxes be collected?

  • DHL acts as our customs broker in the U.S.
  • DHL will calculate any import tariff and state/local sales tax.
  • You will be notified (usually by email or SMS) and must pay DHL directly before your package is delivered.
Q: What happens if I refuse to pay taxes or duties?

  • You can choose to have the shipment returned to us or destroyed by local Customs.
  • If returned, we can refund the product price once it arrives back.
  • ⚠️ However, shipping costs are non-refundable, and DHL will add an extra return handling fee (often higher than the original shipping cost). This extra cost will also be deducted from your refund.
  • If you choose to have the shipment destroyed, we cannot issue a refund.
Disclaimer: Tariff rates are set by the U.S. government and may change at short notice due to ongoing trade actions. The information above reflects the situation as of August 2025.
