Does DJI store video footage (i.e. snoop)

It just occurred to me that DJI might be using citizens to capture video footage, that could be a security risk.

You cant fly without creating a DJI account. Flight data is logged and captured. Does DJI have the ability to upload all video footage?

If they do, is it possible to prevent DJI from such practices? I know satellite images might be better but there is something annoying if DJI can log everything I capture, without me having any say. What better way to spy?

This concern was in the news last summer. I tend to agree, there is a high potential for abuse. The product registration asks a Lot of questions that you have to answer before you can even fly. But I consider it similar to carrying a cell phone, having a Alexa digital assistant, etc. Its the e-world we live in today. Stay informed and weigh the risks.
