I think they should be deleted after each sync.

So if you want to keep them and yoiu sync save them to somewhere external before you sync.

It does create files that are uploaded to AirData , like the old MM

The MM2 does create .DAT files on the mobile device but they are no good to anyone other than DJI because they are now encrypted.

No it accepts .txt flight logs not the .DAT file.
