Downloading video files on dji fly app takes too long

Hi all. I have android phone and mavic Mini. When I download a video using the dji Fly app it can take 45 mins. What is the quickest way, I do still want to be able to edit on the app as well. If I plug the drone directory in to the laptop I seem to have lost the chance to edit on the app. Any advice please

If your Android phone has an sd card slot, you could possibly move the card to the phone. If not, you could possibly manually transfer the file to an intermediary computer or laptop and then to the phone. I've not used the editing software so I'm not sure if you can open files moved or copied that way.

I know that copying video files can be slow so I generally avoid moving videos and only moving pictures.

Videos is caching to the phone in lower resolution in the background, but not images. Can images be transferred also so that after flight we can see images on the phone?

I never waste time downloading via the app. I just pull the card, insert it in the SDHC/XC adapter and transfer the files with an SDHC adapter to my computer. My computer lets me view all the images on the card and I can be selective about what to 'download.'

I think I need to do the same

I plug the drone into my computer and download it that way. It's pretty quick.
