First flight yesterday
To be honest didn't do much with camera.
Took sd card and imported all files to ipad.
Don't ask what model. All I no its a few years old.... 5 ish.
Photos were fine
Ipad said it didn't support video format.
Only videos on the dji fly app too
On my phone
Huawei p20 only videos
Apologies in advance if this is a stupid and obvious thing but I really don't do tech
Most of what I've read might as well be written in Chinese.
Too many abrieviatons lol

You need to upload files to a pc, then process or view them. Ipad not suited for that. What video settings did you use, 4k, 2k, 1080? An older ipad not up to processing and playing these drone vids unfortunately. Best on a pc.

Thanks.
Don't posess a pc unfortunately
May consider buying the wife a new ipad if that would do everything I need
Cheers Mel

Try YouTube if you can Mel. I am going to try later with a 4K short vid(more to save the upload time than anything). If I get 4K on tube, that might be the only way I can view.
It seems these little drones are superior to my iMac capabilities , although my first video played fine.

Wouldn't no where to start lol
For now just going to focus on getting used to everything
At the moment I can see what I'm recording one way or tother.
Cheers Mel

Try shooting your video in .mov mode as that is the Apple standard. It's in the camera settings.
Although a little different, i tried MOV and i can now play the 4k footage on the imac(could not before as jerky). BUT and a big but, i changed the codex from 265 to 264(265 seems a bit too trick for the imac, could be wrong). I also slapped a new xtreme pro u3 in. Either way thank you for the tip, buzzing now. Even if its not 4k on the mac, its good its not jerky footage!
Thank you Thumbswayup

What card did you use before? If not U3 and recorded in 4k, that would cause lost frames.

Both u3 and both should be fine. So it could be dodgy card and i got lucky with first 4 min vid(1st was fine, only after that went jerky). Or the change from mp4 to MOV. Or the codec 265 changed to 264. On my little test flight, 4k , 2700 and 1080 all spot on=happy air 2 owner.

Cheers

You'll probably find that h265 is too much of a struggle for anything but a really ly powerful pc. It contains way more information than h264. Probably wouldn't see the difference anyhow.
