As I started to fly today the warning came on about 30' up. I landed turned everything off and started over, same thing. I repeated this same program 3 more times and it's still there.

Any help would greatly appreciated.

I don't have your answer, only questions; what are you flying? Is this a new craft or is this a new error on an old craft? Any crashes or "hard landings"? Have you calibrated your sensors in Assistant 2?

It's a new drone and I have been flying it for couple months though not to regular because of weather. There have been no crashes, no problems except a previous ultra sonic sensor error that went away after cleaning the sensors.

I have not calibrated the sensors and I am not sure exactly how to do that I will have to research that.

I did not know the Mavic used infrared. Which model are you flying? Pro, Platinum, Air, Spark,...

I also did not know about the Quick Calibration in Go 4. These instructions and much more sensor information came from: Calibrate Mavic Pro Vision Sensor And Fixing System Error

Mavic Pro Vision Sensor Quick Calibration Using Go 4 App
It is possible to do a quick calibration of the Mavic Pro vision sensors. This could be a quick fix if you receive the DJI Mavic vision system error while out aerial filming or if you feel the obstacle detection system isn’t working correctly.

If you don’t have a laptop with the DJI Assistant 2 app to do a full Mavic vision sensor calibration, then you can do a quick Mavic vision sensor calibration using the DJI Go 4 app.

To do the quick Mavic vision calibration, tap on the Aircraft Status in the DJI Go 4 app. Then click on Vision Sensors and start the quick calibration.

Mine is the Mavic Pro.

Thank you very much for your post. I will do the calibration.

I tried to calibrate the sensors using DJI Go but the system says overall status is good and the Vision Sensors are oNormal. Tapping the Vision Sensor brings no response.

Any Ideas?

I have the Mavic Pro and had the same problem yesterday (and again today). Also, it started to launch beyond the 1.2 m that it said it was going to take off to AND I did NOT check off the precision box. I'm getting very frustrated as it has worked very well in the past. I just got this as a gift for my birthday in March and have not flown it very much at all. No crashes, yet ... but some not so soft landings yesterday and today.

I still have the problem just as you describe. Sometimes I will not see the error for several flights and have found no sure cause or cure. . Maybe some day someone smarter than me will figure it out.
