Drone Assist what is Controller Traffic Region

Hi just having a look at Nats Drone Assist after an update today and I noticed a Filter switch For Controlled Traffic Region .... is this new ? .can you fly in this area. I cant seem to find any mention of this .CTZ CTA but what is a CTR is it Class D airspace or something else.

what is a CTR is it Class D airspace or something else.

In the UK, control zones are normally class D airspace and usually extend from the surface to 2000 ft AGL

thanks for the info... Im just wondering what a "Traffic Control Region." is as i have only seen this on the Drone assist app and nowhere else ...on this forum or anywhere i have looked on the web.

Any one from NATS have an idea ?
