Hey, I bought a second hand dji mini 3 pro and stuck with a drone that's bound to another account. I already tried to contact the previous owner and dji, so I no longer have hopes of binding it properly, but I was wondering whether it actually matters?
Of course, I won't be able to sell it again, I won't be able to get dji support or anything related to stuff like that, but in terms of practically just flying the drone, are there any issues? Since the remote is the original one the drone was bound to, it seems to fly just fine so far.

So besides anything around, for flying only, should I care about it?

Thanks.

If you have the original drone and the original remote, have you tried simply going thru the steps and unbinding the drone yourself; what's stopping you? Unless the account is already logged out.....then you won't be able to fly much longer with an account that's logged out.

The account is already logged out, though I've been using it for few months now with no issues, which is why I'm wondering about that.

Yep ok. It's just a matter of time before you're a paperweight. I guess...you never know about this DJI software implementation, they are all over the board. Too many models and sw versions to deal with over the years. Maybe just keep flying it until you can't.

If it ain't broke, why worry about fixin' it? LOL!
Keep flying it like you stole it, until you can't, which may or may not happen.
If it’s already been a few months, it may be too old to be affected by the current periodic logouts on newer drones.

It already logged out as I've said, I connected the RC to my new account and it flies just fine, no altitude limitations or anything, also running on the latest versions on both.

I was just wondering if I should keep caring about it and try some unconventional methods or not, and whether someone was in a similar situation which he was able to fly for months/year and then it somehow stopped working.

I read this somewhere: "YES- a bound drone, can still be flown just fine, BUT, once it’s bound to someone else’s account, the drone remembers what remote controller it was connected too at the time, and unless you are the original account owner, a bound drone can only be used with that original remote".

In my case it is the original drone and RC.
