It’s been very windy lately and Mavic drones are on the smaller side especially the mini.

I was going to say as soon as tomorrow, but I received the DJI N1C remote instead of the DJI N1 remote. Likely in two weeks from now. I will be having a midterm and just life in general (…yeah I am a busy college student).

What day works best for you all? I think a Saturday would work best for me and maybe some days of the week, but I need to figure out my work schedule in about two weeks from now.

Let’s aim for the week of St Patrick’s Day 17th or the week after starting with the 24th. Hopefully more can join us by then, but I will try and reach out on the other forums as well.

I do want to set up a canopy and a table with general knowledge about drones, so I am open to ideas for that. It might be too much for a first meet up, but I would like to implement that eventually and likely organize drone meetings in California someday; although, primarily it will be in Bakersfield starting off.

Do you know the drone regulations for Castaic Lake by any chance? I might want to go over there eventually and take some videos and pictures with my drones. I am going to do some research.

Sorry its within the Los Angeles National Forest. and around the town of Castiac Drones are not allowed in the Parks.
Its worth a call tho !

Interesting when it comes to national forests because I looked up for the Los padres national forest and it just says not in wilderness areas, but it says that flying is still allowed in other areas. Fair enough about national forests if the drones are banned there though.
