Hello everyone,

I’m hoping you might be able to help me with an issue I’m having with my DJI Mini 2. I bought this drone about 3 months ago second-hand, and it worked flawlessly for approx. 2 months.

I purchase this drone with approx. 30 hours on it. Despite multiple attempts to calibrate the remote control, the drone continues to rotate to the left as soon as I start flying. I’ve updated both the drone and the remote control to the latest firmware and have also reset them numerous times, but the problem persists.

Here’s what I’ve done so far:

  • Recalibrated both the remote and the drone using DJI’s recommended procedure.
  • Checked that the joysticks and buttons on the remote are responsive in the DJI Fly app.
  • Ensured that both the drone and the remote control have the latest firmware updates.
  • Reset both the drone and the remote multiple times to try to resolve the issue.’
If I reset the drone, it will operate normally for a short while, but then revert to a left rotation.

Any advice or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help!

How much and how fast is it rotating?
Does it hover in place without rotataing.
How are you seeing the rotation?

Hi, Thanks for your response.
The issue appears to be getting worse over time.
The joystick is centred but it was showing on the remote that it was pushing 18%, after resetting everything and recalibrating, it is now showing that it is pushing 90% left. It rotates consistently as if being steered deliberately.
Yes, it appears to be hovering in place while rotating.
It rotates directly in front of me almost immediately after launch (initially it took a few minutes before this started).
Thanks again.

If you are seeing that the joystick is giving that input without you doing anything, that's your problem.
And if recallibrating the joysticks doesn't solve the issue, it sounds like the controller should be replaced or repaierd.

Meta4, maybe a damaged or warped prop.??
Just a guess, I only use Master Air Screw props on my Drones. Never had any issues.
