Drone shopping. I have a DJI Mini 2 ordered. Is the DJI Mini 2 the same drone as the DJI Mavic Mini 2? I have not been able to clarify this.

It's classified as the DJI Mini 2 as DJI has removed the Mavic name from the title. It's still a Mavic though in my opinion.

DJI confused everyone for a time. They dropped the "Mavic" name for most of their consumer/prosume drones... only to resurrect it with the Mavic 3, released recently. The last Mini to have Mavic in the name was the original DJI Mavic Mini, lovingly referred to here as the "Mini 1".
