Dronie not ascending

Hello,

I tried doing a dronie tonight, started at about 7ft above ground. Instead of flying up and backwards like normal, it just flew backwards. So i had to override the controls to stop it before it hit a tree!

How can I get it to go up and back like normal? And why did it do this in the first place?!

Use the up stick gesture and the back stick gesture simultaneously.

Don’t know why it did it otherwise.
May need to check your software, restart everything and test in a wide open area.

How old is your drone?

Yes think I'll switch to manual dronies for now....
I'm on the latest Go4 app and I always do the firmware updates.
I've only had it a few months, but the guy i brought it off got it on care refresh but never flew it, so probably a refurbished one.... Is there Any way of telling?

Use a serial number checker. Serial is in the battery compartment. It can give you the build date... search it on the forum, it has to do with an “R” in the serial.
