Left my case unlocked and my controller took a 3-4 ft drop onto the carpet. Heard a slight thump (thin, hotel room carpet). No outward sign of damage. When I tried to power up my drone few hours later the controller wouldn’t connect to the drone. A few hours afterwards I tried to power up the drone again. I toggled the WiFi-RC switch and the drone connected. Then this AM I tried again and nothing. I tried 2 ways of re-pairing the controller-drone. No luck.
Interestingly, the controller still gives the height and distance of the drone when I wave it in the air. But the DJI app says the drone is disconnected. No camera stream from the drone to the DJI app on the iPad.
Never realized the controller is so sensitive, even to a small drop. Luckily have a spare controller.
