Dual momitors

I am still looking for a method to use mu iPad Air as a second monitor with my SC. I want to use the iPad as a touch screen along with SC
I have tried using a USB to iPad Lightning cord and HDMI to iPad Lightning cord and nothing. I must be missing a setting

Even if you do find a way to screen capture/mirror onto your ipad, I severely doubt that there's anyway to have it work as a touch screen. Just one to many OS wanting control... The only way I can foresee is to use the Dual Controller method but even then, the slave has limited menu function.

I hope Im wrong though!
