Enable Obstacle Avoidance vs Enable Horizontal Obstacle Avoidance

What is the difference between Enable Obstacle avoidance and Enable Horizontal Obstacle Avoidance in the DJI Go App for the Mavic.

I would like to know as well Joe. I tested it out today and while it does stop when flying towards me it does not back up as I approach. Any ideas anyone?

Going to test the horizontal when it warms up, but if you want it to back up as you approach you have to turn that setting on as well. I assume its off by default since the Mavic Pro lacks rear sensors unlike the Air.
