I started out with a Mini, followed by a Mini 2 (several of them), an Air2S and Mavic 3. However, it was the DJI FPV that rocked my world and got me hooked on flying FPV manually. The learning curve is steep and many hours were spent practicing on a simulator. A few drones later, I finally took the plunge and purchased a used iFlight Chimera 7 Pro.
I flew the Chimera all last summer on flat terrain trying to get a feel for range and handling characteristics. Learning "line of sight" and losing a drone/GoPro/battery etc. made me wary of this new venture. However, I kept plodding forward, determined to obtain some epic footage of the Canadian Rockies...
The footage is raw and unedited with the exception of cropping out a small section where the GoPro had difficulty focusing. I hope you enjoy this flight.
