When you switch to the sport mode does it override whatever mode you might be in at the time?

Everyone says, yes. However, the other day while in Active Track the app crashed. I flipped to sports mode and it did not disengage Active Track. I had to get the app back up in order to disengage it. So ~beware of what folks are saying. It doesn't always work.
