Have been experimenting with sunstars on my Mavic 3 Pro. Here's two images taken last night. I like the Auto image better because I can see the fall colours of the trees that have begun to change but obviously no sunstar because the aperture is wide open. When I go out again, I might try taking two images one using the settings to get a good sunstar and then one using auto to get a good general exposure and then combine them in post and see what I get. Both images were shot with the 24mm lens and were HDR blends from 5 shot AEB brackets.

Thanks!

I do like the sunstar one but, I am going to experiment with multiple exposures next time exposing for the sunstar and then for the landscape to see if I can preserve the tree colours when I merge them.

If I try to lighten the landscape in the sunstar image it introduces too much noise and the image doesn’t look natural.
