There are some odd things in that article.
"Calibration before each flight is paramount, ..."
Battery calibration?
"Having extra batteries is a practical strategy for completing tasks without the need for frequent battery swaps."
If you have extra batteries you won't need to use them?

I'm not sure which article was written first, but it appears to be pretty much the same as this article, "7 Ways to Boost Your Drone's Battery Life."
I would have to disagree with the "calibration being paramount" although proper battery maintenance is. The rest is pretty much common sense.
I would also add, the type of drone and/or battery might play a role in the care of them.
