I've been asked to take some close up pictures of a roof. Are there any special settings I should use to get the best resolution? Also, I turned off the sensors, but it still beeps like crazy. I must be missing something to shut down. Thanks

I also took some pictures of a friends roof recently she was having the roof redone and I found the pictures could be expanded with great clarity on any of the camera settings At least that was my experience. I never had problems with the beeping though.
You dont have to fly the drone to see what it will do. Just turn the system on, aircraft, Controller, mobile device - set for high resolution image - picture or video as you prefer - and hand carry to aircraft to some test object - tree bark for instance. You'll see how close you can get and I expect you'll be very satisfied with the image quality for your purpose.
Oh, the beeping - if you were over a sloped roof the drone probably was giving a close proximity safety warning.
