Been really enjoying the Mavic on this trip to Iceland by Adventure Motorbike. Getting better by flying almost daily. Still learning lots.

Here's a pic from today, the end of the road (literally).

How did you get the bikes over there?
I heard sometimes putting in a crate and flying it is not as expensive as you might think.

Yes. We met some guys from the U.K. That did the crate option. They all chipped in, and then left the bikes in Iceland for 6 weeks. Some flew in for a week, some made multiple trips. But their flights are a few hundred Euros and the crate would be much less than from the Pacific West Coast where I live.

You can rent bikes in Iceland, but if you want to go off road you are forced to take a guide.

I wanted to experience the North Atlantic by ship in my lifetime , so when we discovered there is a ferry from Denmark we built the trip around renting bikes in Europe and taking the ferry (2 days each way)
