Hi everyone,

Farolim de Felgueiras stands at the end of Foz do Douro's breakwater in Porto, taking the full force of the Atlantic Ocean.

After weeks of overcast skies, mid-December brought clear conditions and a powerful swell from the west. The waves break against the 19th-century lighthouse and the rocky pier, creating the dramatic conditions this stretch of coastline is known for.

This is the meeting point between the Douro River and the Atlantic, where the ocean demonstrates its raw energy against Porto's northern shore.

Wow! I REALLY enjoyed evrery moment of this film. The dramatic waves crashing in slow motion were fantastic, the speed ramping sections excellent and the mysterious music brought it all together. Wonderfully filmed, and edited. Also loved the final closure to black.
