FCC/CE mode

Looking to confirm that FCC mode is Activated on the New drone. I get a consistent Signal loss warning at approx. 500 meters and from what i am trying to understand, i would need a expensive App that's available to change it . Located in Canada, i thought it was FCC mode enabled. Thanks!
