With today’s FCC ruling being able to retroactive ban drones, would that mean a drone currently in use can be banned? Or is it only to devices not yet sold? Obviously it concerns all of us with Mini 3 pro

It's a good article and I don't think anyone believes any of the government actions so far involves confiscation. The ban and the revocation of FCC certification isn't "confiscation" which would come later if and when the government decides the ban and the revocation are not working or performing as expected (which it won't).Another view point. Briefly mentioned that they will not be confiscating drones.
