I was listening to the news this morning and the topic of the DJI ban came up. It did not occur to me that it is not just hobbyist like me that will suffer from the ban, but they mentioned ALL of the farmers, inspectors, contractors, and on and on that would be even MORE affected by the ban? It would appear that perhaps a ground swell of animosity towards the current administration has begun since this ban will be interfering with so many people's ability to make their living? Hope so!!

The government already knew about this (and so did we) and the government doesn't care about this. DJI (by way of all foreign-made UAVs) is already on the covered list and even if every citizen in the US is against that, DJI will remain on the covered list; there's no taking that back.

It's a government list, there are hundreds of way to get on it but there's no way to come off it. Have you seen the list? Has anything ever been removed? There no way to justify reversing this as long as there is an exception process in place. Like all government processes, the exception is put into place to hedge the legal concerns with zero intention of ever triggering the exception for a foreign manufacturer unless you need a critical part for an important military drone; it's the oldest trick in the book. Just like drone permits in NYC.

Hmmmm..........interesting........I would think this just might change the way some folks choose to vote in the future, since it directly affects their ability to make a living or run their business........not that there will be enough to make any difference?,

Until we remove the “you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours” equation in our system, we will continue to suffer.
