Filming the progress of my house

I'm trying to film the progress of the building of my new house that is about 1.5 miles away from where I currently live. Is it possible to save a current mission that flies the same altitude and route? I tried waypoints, but the max waypoint is 500 meters. Any suggestions? Thanks everyone.
