4 years ago, a friend and I started work on this video. After plenty of change in ideas, gear and direction, we finally completed it. It's a bit long (almost 9 minutes) but it is a narrative of sorts. Hope you enjoy it.
Somehow, your video drew me in! Perhaps it was the pure love of the car expressed in the tone of your narrative, or maybe it was the recall of all of the old St. Louis sites (I spent 3 years there in medical training). Just seeing all of the old neighborhoods, the Gateway Arch, the Italian places (calzone joints) on the Hill, and the quiet countryside, brought back memories of St Louis,(I was there 1965-1968). I loved the nuanced views of the logos, dials, wheels, etc. Pure entertainment for my Saturday morning. Great job. Thanks for sticking with the project and sending it out.4 years ago, a friend and I started work on this video. After plenty of change in ideas, gear and direction, we finally completed it. Thanks Dale! I've lived in and around St. Louis most of my life. I still love the city even though politics have run it into the ground in the past. We are Art Museum, Zoo and History Museum members so even though I live in Jefferson County, we still like to visit the city. I'm glad you liked the video, your comments and everyone else's make it worth the time and effort to make it!Just seeing all of the old neighborhoods, the Gateway Arch, the Italian places (calzone joints) on the Hill, and the quiet countryside, brought back memories of St Louis,(I was there 1965-1968).
