Has anyone used a M2 Zoom to caputure a fireworks show? Was it successful? I've seen Pro outputs. Would it be a waste of time to even try with a Zoom?

The hard part with fireworks is anticipating where the action is or you can end up pointing at a blank sky.
Don't see why you shouldn't get something decent with your zoom as long as the sky is full enough.

Thanks Cyborg.

Brought mine up last night got some footage of the neighborhood fireworks, it was pretty awesome to see !!

I shot some far away with manual settings. It looked awesome, but I wish I was closer.

Mike, did you shoot any video also? I was wondering if everything went smooth. Your stills looked great, btw.
Yes i did and came out pretty nice!
