Does using a ND filter make any difference?
I do not know if there is any possibility to fit a ND filter to the camera of the Mini 4.
I fly the Mavic Pro with filter attached, there is a big difference in picture quality.

ND filters do not affect picture quality, they simply allow you to stop down the amount of light coming into the camera lens and eventually hitting the sensor. They will not affect color or polarization unless it is a polarized ND filter. They come in very handed when you do not have an adjustable aperture or you want to do long exposure imaging.

I returned the Mini 4 Pro and reordered. The new version works as expected.
