Hello fellow pilots. I had my first flight outside today after crashing two times indoors. the weather in germany is stormy these days. Could not wait to get the mavic up. My craft lost its virginity in windy weather with 40km wind and more in the heights. I didnt push too far and went up to a maximum of 20 meters when i saw the mavic was fighting hard with the wind.For the craft it seems to be the limit what i saw when it flew against the wind. I immediately went down. My overall experience was that you can fly in strong winds but as a responsible pilot you dont want to stress and loose your craft.
I was super exited how the video of the flight was and the footage is awesome. Even with strong wind conditions you get smooth videos. The gimbal works great. No shaking at all.I think dji did a great job with that part of the craft.
