I have finally got to the bottom of what was causing the playback issues, I fired my old laptop up checked the playback was in 1080 and all the video playback was smooth i compared the settings and on the PC i had somehow moved the "Ambient mode" slider to on as soon as i switched it off the video smoothed out apart from the flying error parts, looks like i will give 1080 60fps a try next time i am out and see how that works out.

Thanks for all the tips i am sure following them will make my videos more fun to watch for friends and family.

I have finally got to the bottom of what was causing the playback issues,

Unfortunately that was wishful thinking and the jittery playback returned.

Fortunately after way too much time spent on this i may have found the solution a couple of forum threads suggested turning on hardware acceleration on and turning off optimal performance settings (my settings are below) and it seems to have worked

I hope this may help other members who have the same issue.

Don't overthink it.

Practice makes perfect. First of all, have fun.
Learn to fly the drone. Then learn basic photography principles..
It will all come together.
