So, this is a first for me! Or.. Several firsts..
First time flying a drone
First time building a drone from parts
First time editing video

Accidentally recorded in 1080p, also got some artifacts because of Youtube compression, but all in all I'm happy with what was achieved with two batteries. Flew with Litchi in VR mode. All manual, no intelligent flight :)

Very nice for a first time :) You did a good job.
I'm curious though - you built a Mavic from parts?

Since I cannot watch more then 1080p at my computer, no problem. Very nice footage, maybe to consider for the next editing: Instead of "fade out-fade in" (which creates the black sequences) try an overflow from one scene to another. Sometimes I do seveal versions of a video to see what scenechange looks the best (to me).

How far up north in Sweden are you?

Thank you! And yes, it was built from a catastrophic wreck and other wrekage parts, some new parts that I could not get in used condition. Paid somewhere around $400 but at least it was a fun learning experience :)

Yes, only used the fade to black transition because many of the clips didn't blend well. And many had shakes and had to be cut very short. I think it's because of MPP low noise props. They are balanced but still gets the gimbal bouncing at times.

I'm in the Umeå region, very warm winter :(

Umeå, not been that far up north. Furthest we went was about 50 km north of Karlstad.

The problem with the short clips sounds familiar. I decided to start the recording at take off and stop with the landing. It gives me plenty of oportunity to choose the "right" sequences.
My next Sweden Project will be on and around Hyppeln in August.

Nice footage. I think it might be a little long and some scenes tend to repeat (very similar) but it looks great.

Noted, will aim for more variation next time, the vertical panning wasn't supposed to be used repeatedly but all other panning and backwards flying had gimbal jittering.. and thanks :)
