First Flight!

After lurking on this forum and eagerly awaiting the delivery of my MA2, I was finally able to "fly" it today. My inaugural flight was bombarded with a flight restriction prompt. I had already asked for clearance with kitty hawk. I tried to ask permission to unlock through DJI app and it said I couldn't receive text messages so I calmly landed the craft. In my next attempt, I was able to unlock through the DJI app.

The winds were extremely variable so I took it way easy. I can't wait to fly again. I had one question:

Is there any way to unlock the zone before take off?

Welcome to our Forum from a former San Diegan (now in North Texas).

Where are you in SD? I lived 25 years in 92128.
I use AirMap. Never had trouble.

I guess the only trouble I really had was that DJI asked me to unlock while I was already in the air. I would rather not say my location. Thanks though. I tried Kittyhawk instead and it worked.

I just downloaded the photos and videos and notices some photos are missing.... Can you take a photo while recording video?
