First MPP road trip

My MPP’s first trip; going to check out Olympic Valley tomorrow. Gonna take it very easy, it’s cold and snowy.

Too cold and windy at the moment. Decidedly NOT Sunny and 51 like the Apple Weather app says. Actually overcast and under 30. But the wind is the issue.

Finally made a couple of short flights Saturday night. Nothing ambitious, just around a large patio and up to about 30m to “inspect a tree”. First nighttime flights.

I found notable changes in behavior, e.g. substantially more drift, both vertically and horizontally. Probably a combination of altitude (6200’ MSL) and temperature (about 20F).

I’d post a video, except I forgot to take off my ND-16 filter, so everything’s too dark.
