First success with low light photo

Very Nice! I too am very impressed with the low light capabilities of the Mavic. This one was a 2 second exposure to catch the lightning.

You will need high ISO

You will get a lot of noise in the picture, so fixing that in post is most likely required using some form of noise reduction / de-noiser software.

Put the bird in the air and set it to auto initially, frame you shot and flick to manual and then tweak the settings until you get what you want as far as exposure etc is concerned.

Bring back home and correct in post (lightroom/photoshop/whichever program/app you prefer)

I never shoot high ISO, my above Lighting photo was taken at ISO 100 but it wasn't windy. The Mavic does a pretty good job with stabilization so I never shoot over ISO 400 at night. Even a little post noise reduction can muck up a photo IMHO.

Yeah, Mavic is quite stable even in little windy conditions. Biggest challenge is to set focus in low lights. Once it is done Mavic will do the rest.
400 is my limit too. On my Canon 70D I do push it sometimes to 800 but just for experiments...
