After a recent crash my Mavic Pro gimbal is stuck in one position.
At start up it moves up and down. Also, I can physically move the gimbal in all directions.
I cannot auto calibrate the gimbal anymore.
And I cannot make the gimbal move up and down with the RC.
The picture and video quality is still good.
Thank you in advance for your help.

I'm sorry about that. It's something we all dread. After the crash it appears your gimbal is physically damaged and will probably need replacement.

There used to be a member here who was very reasonable in fixing DJI drones.
Please somebody provide a contact info.
Thank you,

As soon as I hit the 'Gimble Auto Calibrate' button I get below message.
It does not even begin to calibrate - -I get below message instantaneously.
Is it a software issue? I hope that is it as it would be an easier fix.

Start by replacing the ribbon cable..
That usually fixes these problems..
If that doesn’t work then I might have
To replace gimbal.
If u are good at this type stuff u can replace the gimbal motors..
I would buy replacement gimbal tho it’s not that much actually…

After much debate and looking for drone repair service locally I have decided to send the drone to DJI for repairs. At least they give you a shipping label (at their cost) and send it back to you (at their cost) if you decide not to get it fixed. I am sure they will make up for the shipping costs by their labor/parts price but I am hopeful that the drone's gimbal will work like before the last crash.

Thank you all.

DJI received the drone, inspected it and sent me the below invoice.

After the gimbal started acting up I flew the drone and took plenty of pics and video. There was nothing wrong with the lens/camera. Only the gimbal was not working.

I don't think I am going to approve the repairs. I will sell off the RC, batteries, charger, brand new props, ND filters and recoup some costs.
