Fixed wing not there

I have my or my wife's iPhones plugged in and no fixed wing option
With android tablet it is there
Any ideas?
I thought last update was done thru iPhone 7+

I did the update a few weeks ago and flew fixed wing with phone
I believe it's current
Shouldn't it tell me if newer firmware is available?

Why didn't they make this a mode instead if the "activate it burried in a setting menu" option?

On iPhone 5s (mine) says app version 4.0.8
And app database version 00.00.01.04
When I choose "check for update" nothing happens

Now I see "coach mode" where "fixed wing" switch was
