Nothing new. Seen one posted that dropped fire to start
Controlled burns. You think about it that’s better starting backfires to control forest fires than putting boots on the ground. Everything has good reasons it just some abuse

@dirkclod I saw a goat blow up (and other things) by stepping on a land mine accidentally in Afghanistan..... now that was something to see. Wish we had some mini drones over there when I was still in, and some flamethrowers to burn down the trees where the "bad guys" hid.
