Flashing HD signal

Probably a stupid question but when I fly sometimes the HD signal will flash slowly. Is that normal just telling me I'm in HD or is that saying my signal is going in and out?

I'm also curious. When I use my iPhone it doesn't happen, but when I use my dedicated S7 edge it blinks every flight.

afaik (ac) signal interference. flashing rc signal icon means interference in rc signal. not 100% sure though, I have read somewhere else on this forum.

now that is interesting i am having this issue too. but i want to try with a phone other than S7.

yes this is what it means and both RC and HD can flash.

Correct, it means that interference is detected (in any amounts), if the interference becomes more severe it will throw the warning, it's not uncommon to have this happen since unless your in the middle of Antarctica there's gobs and gobs of signals floating around to interfere.
