So I’m watching the flight playback on the DJI Go 4 app and it’s in Portrait. Turning my phone does not put it in landscape and I don’t see anything to tap on to turn it. Is it possible?
I just opened Go4 on my iPad while holding it in portrait mode, and still it opened in landscape. Orientation lock is off, but no portrait. Weird that yours is reverse. iOS or Android?
I have 5s too, it just tilts when I tilt the phone...iPhone 5s. I checked my orientation lock and it’s off too. I remember the other app for my Phantom was landscape but I’m new to the GO 4
I've read that DJI Go4 really taxes the processor (especially when flying). People talk about getting the newest iPad for that reason, even using them on a cooling pad! Maybe the 5s just can't run it smoothly.Maybe you have more apps open, compared to the poster who said he had no problem on his 5s.

Is your gimbal in portrait mode?
I’m talking about the map playback of the flight where it shows the flight route on the map and info. But I just tried on my tablet and like the other guy said, it’s in landscape on the tablet. But my tablet is slow so it’s laggy. I’m putting a video together and I want to show the map in the corner of the video to show flight info. My phone plays it back perfect with no lag but I can’t screen record my tablet and sync it with the video since it’s laggy.
Ahh the flight record playback. That’s always in portrait. I suspect everyone misunderstood what you were talking about like I did.
Actually, I just tried the flight playback on my iPad and that too is in landscape, and will not change to portrait. Maybe it works differently on phone versus iPad, or maybe the 5s in question has an older operating system?Ahh the flight record playback. That’s always in portrait.
