Fly app crashes making waypoints

The DJI Fly app is crashing when I create waypoints. Is there a solution or a limitation I should watch for, such as max points?

I am creating a waypoint mission for the Air 3. Even with a dozen or so points it crashes when editing the mission.

Fly app on which device?
If it is an Android phone you could try completely uninstalling the app and also removing all DJI related folders by using a file manager, then reinstalling.

iOS, Fly App version 1.12.4.
I’d have to see if I could restore my good waypoint mission after reinstall.

I know this is a year old but now my RC2 freezes every time I try to fly a mission with around 200 waypoints. I have to completely restart the controller and the drone returns to home. Very frustrating. I don't have an N2 to test with the app, but I wonder if there are any solutions. I use a lot of waypoint missions.
