Is there anyone else finding great difficult to find a unrestricted space to fly in France We've traveled from Dieppe to nearly the Mediterranean and every time we've stopped we've been in an area where it's forbidden to fly a drone. They can't br many places left!!! Anybody else had this difficulty.
I fly a Mini 4Pro and I usually use Drone Assist but even that doesn't cover all the areas restricted on the official French site

I am assuming you are registered to fly in the EU? Be aware the only drones you can fly without registration are ones without cameras. Even the sub 250 must be registered.
I took my course and got authorization through the French site "Alpha-Tango". It's similar to the 107 but not quite as detailed ... if you have a 107 you don't need to study to pass but there are a few unique requirements.
I was in France in March, on a river cruise, but I didn't fly.
Check "Alpha Tango" ,it may have some information, Also check "Austro Control" App . I used that to file flight plans in parts of the EU.
As in the US the restrictions are usually from agencies that control aviation ( Like the FAA) but some places like Paris don't allow any recreational flying.
Not much help.....sorry
