Flying at Night

I use an Air3 and noted the Air3 S is quoted as 4/5 mph slower than the Air3

The specs for both models show an identical max airspeed of 19 metres/sec.

Again, I was trying to explain that it does 33 in a day and 23 at night that wouldn’t be an issue other than sensor picking something up and slowing it down if it was weight or battery it would do it in a day not just the night

It sounds like an artificial slow down at night prob to do with OA not working and relisnce on one LIDAR sensor better able to cope with slower speed ?

The spinning is so it can get a 360 degree field of view, similar to radar dishes in airports that also spin 360 degrees. The LIDAR on the Air 3S has a FOV of 60 degrees hospital and vertical

got to watch that hospital view!
