Nice. Did you have any issue with the snow building up on the aircraft?

none. I do a lot of flying in the frigid temps and snow. I used to fly with the protective bubble on in the snow....but i stopped doing that a while ago.

Mavic is one tough bird.

My biggest trick for cold weather is to keep batteries warm until they are in use. Then i fly conservatively and try to land by 50%....which is usually not a problem because my fingers are froze by then. Also, a disposable hot pack on the back of the ipad helps keep that device alive in the cold.

Thanks for the info (several good nuggets in the post). I flew below 30F the other day for the first time. I think my fingers were colder than anything on the aircraft.

Nice shots. I have flown my Spark with heavy snow falling, not sure I would chance the Mavic but your video shows it can handle a fair bit of snow. Looks like you have to fix the white balance or tweak in post though as the second part of the video looked a bit tinted.
