Hey all,

I noticed something while flying with my Ipad mini. Its a wifi version which I Hotspot to my phone when flying. It seems the GPS wont lock on to the RC location and shows me wandering around the map. Even the indicator of where the drone is in relation to the controller (the one center bottom of the screen in DJI Fly) is off, but when I use my phone its tracks me fine. Anyone else experience this?

Because their new aircraft orientation sucks. The old GO app orientation was always exact. This is a horrible failure for this new app.
So creating redundant threads is going to solve the problem? No one has an answer for it here.

Two issues to consider.
1) A WiFi iPad does not have a GPS chip ... only cellular models do
2) Even if you had a WiFi chip, DJI Go 4 app seems to have a bug in it that will not let you reset the home point to the controller, claiming (falsely) that the GPS signal is not strong enough. That said, I am not 100% sure that the Go Fly app has the same issue as the Go 4 App, but I would bet it does.
