Flying with spotlight

was trying to follow my daughter running about in a field with spotlight on. Yaw and camera gimble follow her fine, and I was able to fly the drone around her. But when she did a 180 it continued to track her but wouldn't allow forward flight. I'm wondering if the "allow backwards flying" toggle needs to be on for that to work, even though the drone was pointed forward. It continued to track just fine, but wouldn't let me move the drone at all.

The orientation of the drone does not matter. Once it is set, it is like courselock. You may have just needed to pull back on the stick to get it to go "forward" relative to the mavic. Or....it got confused, then just start over.
