Flying With The Raptors.....

Shot this today and did a quick edit. The end is my favorite.. would of been the perfect shot but I think I hit some wind as my gimble spiked for a second up then back so I edited it out and transitioned so you will see a split second bird blurr.

Anyways lots of mistakes, but some fun and hope you enjoy the raptors. (I want to say red tail hawks anyone?)

Nice! I flew a lake yesterday and saw some Osprey fishing. I'd love to get some video of them diving and getting fish, but I don't want to interfere. I kept my distance but enjoyed seeing your video. Next time, I may try getting above them and see what happens...

It is always a possibility , they don't seem to mess with me yet and I have been around them a few times albeit not this close (I wandered into them didn't seek it out). And since they are flying in my backyard, I am not conceding the territory lol.

Cool. My almost nemesis was barn swallows. Cool birds, but man, they do not like drones. I don't even fly anymore if I see them. Right around dusk is when I see them most.

Great video, usually with big birds like that I have a copilot assisting me. Keeping a eye on them so I can out maneuver them, also looking to land my drone when I see I am out numbered.

Loved that they seem to be curious as if they were checking out the drone. I would be made up if I could shoot footage like that but would also be more worried in case they attacked the drone but hey nice work ????????

Far worse ways to lose a drone, than to a bird. At least it wasn't just crashing into a lake, or hill.
