Hello guys, I know that there are a lot of other topics covering this, but I'm still struggling to get the best quality on my footage (video). To clarify, I want to make videos of landscapes so most of the times I'll be flying around 80~100m. I'm using D-Log with Sharpness -1, Contrast -1 and Saturation -1 and so far I liked the results but on one video the footage looks great and sharp but in another one, it's not so sharp with the same configuration, so I guess is something related to Focus. Could you please criticize the Youtube link provided below? Please don't focus on post processing as this is not the point of my questions.

Filmed with 2.7k then scaled down to 1080p. Not sharp/focused as I wanted.

I have some questions:

-Is it better to use AutoFocus or Manual?
-Should I tap to focus before taking off, in mid-air(50m) or on high altitude(100m and above)?
-If I always set the Focus to Infinity, will I have a nice Sharpness/Focus while filming landscapes?
-Is it better to film on 4k then scale down to 2.7k or stay with 2.7k since the start?

Thanks very much!

Just for grins, try these settings: D-Cinelike, 0,0,0. Manual or auto exposure. I prefer manual. Leave on autofocus, you can play with that later. Just see if your video is better with these settings first. Also, be sure your EV is 0 or 0.3. Anxious to hear back.

Hello mavic owners!
I would like to purchase a Dji Mavic Pro but I've watched some sample footage on the internet that doesn't convince me so much. For example, I've downloaded some raw material shot by Tom's Tech Time with the mavic pro, which is a known photographer and "droner" (I'm sure he knows how to set his camera settings and focus), which scared me a lot. I noticed that in some parts of the image, the detailes were completely gone and the image looked painted, or muddy (see first attachment). I noticed this in many videos on the internet, especially in low light conditions such as sunsets and also in "how to shoot" videos! However, the videos I watched looked great in daylight conditions (see second attachment). So, I've done some research and I found this video:

Here, a photographer explains the mavic pro's problem that I noticed saying that it's mainly a software concern. Has anyone noticed it? Has this problem been fixed with the newest firmare updates? Should I still buy the mavic? Any comments/suggestions?

Thanks in advance!
