For Sale - Mavic 4 Pro Fly More Combo - BNIB

I mean that's how much they're going for in the US. & If you order one now from outside the US, from Korea or Japan you absolutely will be paying almost 4400$. The tariffs went into effect the 5th and they absolutely have been checking stuff better for people trying to sneak past the 15% tariffs from those countries.
Sorry, but you are misinformed. No one from our forum ordering from Korea has yet had to pay any tariffs during the last month. The $800 de minimus tariff exception extends through August 28 for Korea and is being exploited by Korean eBay sellers declaring the value of goods as $750. I myself have successfully purchased two Creator Combos from Korea this month for $3800 each including eBay sales tax. One was delivered last Friday the other is enroute via FedEx, due this Friday.

Because there are no tariffs on declared values of under $800, there has been very little scrutiny of those packages.

However, that will certainly change on August 29th when the $800 de minimus exception expires for Korea, and 15% tariffs should apply to all shipments from Korea, except the tariffs are not based upon the country from which it is shipped. They are based upon the country of origin, which is China and a 30% tariff should be applied.

These Korean Bay sellers are crafty and will find other ways to keep their underground railroad alive as long as possible. Stay tuned.

Bottom line on buying off of non secured sites is don't pay more than you're willing to lose.
Take ALL steps necessary to verify the purchase before sending a payment.

At the very least, Ebay and Amazon will refund scams. FB, CL, Offerup, etc do not.

I have caught dozens of scams just by using a few simple tactics. If the seller refuses to jump through hoops to prove it's not a scam, then it's a scam.

BTW
Adorama is selling the Fly More Combo for more than I have it for sale for.
More than 4k with tax
Yet, today, you can still buy the $5500 Adorama pre-order Creator Combo for $3667 from Korea and most likely it will clear Customs before August 28th. If it doesn't, and has unacceptable tariffs, the seller accepts free returns within 30 days. Legitimate eBay link below at the weird "Pardon Our Interruption" url.

Dozens of US purchasers all giving glowing reviews with the last month for the same item.

Usually true, but some of the Korean eBay sellers are so cocky that they will just cancel your order if you ask too many questions. Happened to me with Mido Shop. She's notorious for canceling customer orders if you want her to jump through any hoops. Yet, if left alone, she still delivers the goods.

They are playing a dangerous game. If they say too much about how they really operate to avoid tariffs, they can be banned from eBay. So, they hint cryptically at "helping" with tariffs. The biggest issue is they appear to be batching orders together, and restocking in between, so certain orders ship out in 24 hours and others take a week or more. Once a tracking number is assigned, there can be a delay before the Koran EMS tracking number is converted to UPS or FedEx, when it leaves Korea. That's why they underpromise and over deliver on the estimated delivery time frame. It's usually only 4 days to delivery when it leaves Korea.

Why are you even being up what Adorama chargers vs what eBay sellers are? If you buy from adaoma it has nothing to do with what an eBay seller is charging. An eBay sellers creator combo is not Adorama's either. And a creator combo from either one has nothing to do with a fly more combo I am selling from inside in the USA.
If your going to bring up Adorama prices on a classified listing, then bring up what they are actually selling and have sold the fly more for. Which you can't even get the fly more from them if you wanted one right now. If someone even looked at this at all it's because it's listed as a fly more and not a creator. Which I'm sure anyone interested at all know what the difference is?
And yeah the Japan tariffs went into effect in the 7th not the 5th sorry for the 2 day mistake that does even matter because it's the 20th now.
I never said I knew anyone had to pay the tariff. I said yeah they will be checking imports better because who wouldn't want to not pay a tariff whether it be a drone or a pencil, the tariff applies the same. So why wouldn't they check imports better?
I don't understand what your arguing with me about or why there's so much hate on here that I'm selling a drone at all?
What is this like keyboard warrior vigilante justice? I just don't understand what I did besides listing an item I'm selling to warrant all of this hate and negativity seriously. I posted this on mavicpilots not reddit where that crap usually belongs.

If it were a scam, why would he be selling it at $1000 over the current $2800 eBay price from Japan and Korea?

This is not the $5500 Creator Combo that Adorama is taking October delivery pre-orders for, that is currently being sold by the eBay Koreans for $3800.

It's merely an overpriced Korean regular Combo.
Legit, but a bit pricey.
I mean you think doing people a favor that no one on this thread even asked for to tell them there's a better deal out there? Why? What do you want me to say? Congratulations? Your doing the world a huge favor here. I'm not in South Korea or Japan. I am in the United States and that's basically what this package goes for here within the USA.

And to top it off your comparing a Creator vs a Fly More. It's like a random person running up to someone on a car lot looking at the base package a4 and telling them "don't buy that, buy the s5 S class premium plus! Oh and if you buy it direct from Germany you'll get a even better deal! Especially if you sneak it in!"
I hope someone does the same to you one day.

You were the one who brought up the Adorama price for your offering.

"BTW

You were the one who implied that anyone buying from Korea over the last month had to pay tariffs, but you conveniently ignored the $800 de minimus exception that continues until August 28th, which is what is being used by the sellers.
You clearly bought your two from Korea yourself, and want to make a $1000 profit by selling one of them.
Nothing wrong with that, but the fact is the same deal you got is still available to anyone who wants it for $1000 less than you are now charging, until August 29th.
I was the one defending you, as being a legitimate seller, while everyone else was screaming scam.
Fact is that the Creator Combo is still available from Korea for the same price you are charging for your Korean Fly More Combo, and contrary to your belief, many conflate the two, which is why people were calling scam rather than overpriced.
Not sure what Japan has to do with Korea, which is where all the Creator Combos for $3800 have been sourced over the last month.
Bottom line, as I already stated, after August 28th, the Korean underground railroad will likely come to a halt, and your price won't have the current competition that it does now from Korea.
Patience, Grasshopper. Your fruit is still ripening.

I didn't bring it up at all actually. Do you have 2 personalities or were you "hacked"?

🤦🏻 So selective amnesia it is, unexpectedly. Good choice.
No wonder not many people sell on here, they just get attacked, by everyone for like no reason. I've seen several instances of this already on other classified threads. By people who are not even remotely interested in the item.

Actually, in this case, it is the seller attacking the one person who has been defending him.

I was, specifically, commenting on private party selling.
When you're buying from Korea (I'm considering there or Japan for a second Mini) through Ebay, it's best to just look at recent ratings and know that Ebay will have your back if you never receive the item. That's why it's more secure.
Asking questions on how they're managing to do the sale is just making them think you're a watchdog trying to get them in trouble. YOU know it's shady. THEY know it's shady. It's like buying stuff in NY that "fell off a truck".

So "defending" is calling what I'm selling overpriced while simultaneously exhorting others to purchase in South Korea?? Speculating that I actually bought this from S Korea, how much I procured it for and how much of a exorbitant profit I would be making? Saying that I was in fact the one who was initially bringing up Japan or S Korea or Adorama? All incorrect on your part. Speculation that is wildly wrong is not a form of advocacy, it's simply conjecture and a thinly veiled attempt to devalue my offering.
Your innuendo is incorrect. I most definitely did not buy this from South Korea nor was it sourced from there. You in fact are completely unaware of my acquisition cost, why I'm selling it and how much of a profit, or not, I would be making. I am not in S Korea, I am in the USA and this is the prevailing rate for this package here, or they go for more even. I've had my drones since initial release.
I didn't need defending, as the person calling it a scam deleted the post like a week ago now. Thanks for you valiant attempt at defending me but no thanks. Your definition of "defending" is completely different than mine.
I specifically listed in the title Fly More Combo.
In the description I carefully added the exact contents of the package, the storage of the drone and controller, as to avoid any confusion with the Creator Combo. So I don't understand why you thought that any additional information was warranted at all?
You're not even remotely interested in purchasing as you have 2 in transit to you right now. You obviously have quite a few of them so what's the deal? Inviting people to buy it elsewhere for cheaper? MY question is but why HERE.

I have an eBay account, I have 100% positive feedback on there with many sales since 2004, which is not easy to do these days or for that period of time. And no I am not a high volume seller at all. And yes, I've been selling stuff that's excess or that I don't need or want on eBay since I was a senior in highschool here and there. But eBay will want a huge chunk of the drone. Ebay isn't what it used to be for sellers that's for sure. If someone wants to buy it from me on there to feel safer then fine, but I'll have to tack on eBay's percentage.
I have no problem giving an interested person more info, pictures, videos or whatever. I offered PayPal which has buyer protection if the seller doesn't ship the item. I offered to meet, which honestly I have no issue meeting at a police station or whatever if that's what a person wants. The person can verify the drone in person. I'm not breaking the seal and opening the drone. I'm not taking pictures for random trolls commenting who don't even want it.
I just don't really get the rational here. I probably shouldn't have responded to anyone like that at all. Initially I did not because it just feeds vindictive people when you do that. I'm not the type of person that takes crap from anyone or lets anyone do that to other people so I digress, with my programming it is hard to suppress these instincts.

100% agree, like not posting a simple photo or video with the sellers username next to the box….as “it’s too much work”. Still
Scratching my head on that one.

More than a little pissed that I paid $4800 from adarama while many on this forum are blatantly promoting purchasing from S Korea sellers who are illegally exporting packages into the US by taking “advantage” of the de minimus $800value. Each and every US based purchaser is a scofflaw. You know it’s illegal. But you just gotta make a few measly bucks by buying multiple units and selling at a “profit”. If you have to partake in illegal activities, don’t be bragging on it.

Well, you have a US seller on your side and you weren’t scammed out of money nor required to pay tariffs upon receipt. No need to be upset, I think you did ok. Or buy a second one from this guy, get scammed and be double mad.

Some people seem to enjoy paying arbitrary taxes for things they can't get from a US manufacturer.
Some don't.
And that IS a fact.

Actually, the shipper is responsible for the accuracy of the customs declaration, not the recipient. I, too, paid $5,000 to Adorama with sales tax for my Creator Combo. Not pissed at all. Willing buyer. Buying another for $3800 including tax from Korea on eBay is averaging down my per unit cost, so I have a backup. There is absolutely no difference between the Adorama sourced units from Canada and the Korean sourced units. Same drone. Same specs. Much better price. Same repair facility of DJI USA, with limited access to refurbs, whether you bought from Adorama or Korea.

However, I would not buy from a private seller who refuses to disclose where they acquired the drone from, and who will not produce a receipt showing a legal purchase, nor disclose what they paid for the drone, regardless of the asking price. Stating their asking price is the price they go for in the U.S. when they are not for sale in the U.S. by DJI is highly misleading, when all the drones are being sourced from outside the U.S., and Korea is currently the cheapest source from which many of our members have had great success at $1000 to $2000 less than Adorama has been selling them for, but Adorama can now only take pre-orders for October delivery. If you want one now, Korea is still the best source. However, after August 28th, things will change, but I suspect the underground Korean railroad will still continue in a modified form. We'll see.

FWIW, I can buy a Mini 4 Pro (drone only, no accessories) for $732.50

Below the de minimus so it's perfectly legal without tariffs.
Getting it straight from China without a middleman
