Forced Software Update DJI Go4 App 4.1.18

when i fly now I get a Notice update to version 4.1.18 and about 2 minutes My app shuts down
reboot still
Cleared my cookies and cache and turn my wifi off but to no avail.!

I don't want to upgrade because 4.1.3 has been so stable
.
Please help...cR

Every version since got my Mavic has been stable. Shut off internet connection and see if it helps.

Well, in that case I would just do the update. If for some reason it wont work for you, ( I bet you will be fine) you'll have to find a site to download and reinstall an older version. And never connect the device to the internet again.

There is a lot of action on Samsung Note devices not working today. is that what you use?

I use a Nexus 7 tablet with my mavic only.!
this seams Like DJI snt me a " security Patch" without my knowing and is Locking me out of my software
Clear cookies /Cache Turnoff wifi Reboot My Nexus
Start up everthing seem fine 2 minutes into flight Forced shutdown of There app

Samsung Stung me hard with the "Bricking" of My Note4
I wont go back (my phone is a ZTE Axon7)...cR

Can you not delete the app and all the files, then download the apk version of 4.1.3 ? See if that helps. I am on a modded 4.1.3 version, never since July 2017 have i ever had a problem or a glitch.

I lost control twice during Forced shutdown of app (while still control) once FOA and second was LOS during hard landing So I owne them both

today I deleated my old DJIGo4 4.1.3 and Upgraded to 4.2.3
and Powered up the app seem to be working could not Run it through its paces because of a compass error

Have you connected the Mavic and done a firmware update?

No same Firmware for Bird,RC and batterys.
Just uninstalled Old DjiGo4 app 4.1.3 and installed latest App 4.2.3
and No more Upgrade prompt and forced shut down of app

Then you ARE running the latest firmware? That would be a good idea, if you are not.

I live in a ditch Lined with tail trees surrounded by water and have a major Airport 8 miles to my E and An unpaved private airport 3 miles to my N and another 7 miles to my SSW my burg/ Flight envelope is Narrow now and dont want any more limits Or I would be stuck...cR
